Pomegranate Bloom Shirt ~ Naturally Dyed with Indigo, Iron & Madder
A soulful, lightweight shirt hand block printed with the timeless pomegranate flower, a symbol of abundance, rooted in textile traditions across South Asia and beyond. The Pomegranate Bloom Shirt is made using the ancient Ajrakh technique, where generations of artisans have perfected a multi-stage process of resist printing and natural dyeing.
Made in extremely small batches, this shirt is part of a slower rhythm ~ crafted with care, not mass produced.
Cut from our lightest fabric ~ a fine organic Fairtrade Indian cotton (approx. 54gsm), it feels soft, airy and breathable. Slightly more translucent than our other shirts, it’s ideal for warm days, travel, or layering through the seasons.
Naturally dyed with real plant and mineral pigments including indigo, iron and madder, the floral pattern is brought to life through careful layering and hand-carved wooden blocks.
