Iron Echo Shirt
A structured yet breathable shirt made from handwoven Kala cotton and dyed naturally with iron using the traditional Ajrakh process. The Iron Echo Shirt blends sacred geometry with organic flow, resulting in a quiet, textured pattern that feels both rooted and contemporary.
The design is created through resist printing, where delicate motifs are preserved as iron dye is brushed over the fabric. This handwork allows the mineral-rich dye to settle naturally, creating soft contrast and depth. Once dyed, the fabric is washed, boiled and sun-dried before being sewn in a small workshop with handmade coconut shell buttons and a relaxed straight-cut fit.
