Indigo Hex Shirt ~ Resist Printed and Naturally Dyed with Indigo
A lightweight shirt with clean structure and timeless calm. The Indigo Hex Shirt is hand block printed using the Ajrakh resist method, where layers of paste and natural dye reveal intricate negative space patterns ~ in this case, a subtle hexagonal lattice dyed in deep plant based indigo.
Printed and dyed in extremely small batches, this shirt reflects the slow rhythms of craft ~ careful work done by hand, not machine.
Cut from our lightest cotton (approx. 54gsm), it feels soft, breathable and effortless. Slightly more translucent than our other shirts, it’s ideal for warm climates, long days, or layering in motion.
The pattern is built through the interlocking block technique, where multiple hand-carved wooden blocks align precisely to create one continuous design.
