Ochre Bloom Shirt ~ Naturally Dyed with Indigo, Iron & Ochre
A soulful midweight shirt grounded in ancient craft and made for everyday ease. The Ochre Bloom Shirt is hand block printed using the Ajrakh method ~ a meticulous multi-stage process carried forward by generations of artisans in Kutch.
Printed and dyed in extremely small batches, it reflects a slower, more thoughtful approach to making ~ from seed to shirt.
Cut from our standard 72gsm organic Fairtrade cotton, this shirt offers a relaxed drape and breathable feel with a bit more structure than our lightest styles. Ideal for wearing on its own or layered up when the air cools.
The repeating floral geometry is printed using the interlocking block technique, where multiple hand-carved blocks are aligned by eye to create one continuous pattern. The design is dyed in layers of indigo, iron and ochre — natural pigments that bring warmth and balance to the print.
